Hmm… something is going on with Shaquille O’Neal and fighting games. Siliconera discovered multiple trademarks for Shaqfighter filed by Mine O’Mine which owns Shaq.com back in May.

Mine O’Mine just registered four different trademarks for Shaq Fu, the name of the ’90s fighting game where Shaq travels to Japan and gets sucked into another dimension. The Shaq Fu trademarks cover video games, computer software, video game characters, electronics action games, playing cards, and online games. These might be protective trademarks, but filling so many trademarks for a defunct game and the new Shaqfighter one is unusual.

 

Well, not as unusual as this!
