Players start by creating a clan and recruiting members with gil. You can earn gil by completing quests and strengthen you clan further by purchasing new gear. What’s neat is Final Fantasy Tactics S has a clan vs. clan battle system where you can challenge other players. You can bring up to nine clan members into a battle. It looks like Mobage simplified the "tactics" part of the game since the maps look like flat fields. I suppose that should be expected since this is a social game, after all. Final Fantasy Tactics S is out in Japan now. It has not been announced for the West, but DeNA (the company that owns Mobage) brought over Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade so there’s a chance it will be localized.
