Xbox One will remember what you were last doing, Microsoft announced today at their Xbox reveal.

The system will boot up at a home menu, from where you’ll be able to relaunch applications, and multitask between different applications using voice commands and hand gestures.

Using voice commands, Xbox One lets users flip through live TV, Internet Explorer, music, and games. The system has new gestures like “grabbing” the screen and pulling your hands closer to get back home. You can get back to the movie or game by reversing the gesture.

Xbox One takes a cue from Windows 8’s “snap” feature too. You can snap windows to watch a movie and run Internet Explorer at the same time. Xbox One supports Skype and group video chatting too.
