Monster Hunter 4 is a major release for Capcom this year, as the company seeks to improve sales and earnings. Slated for release in Japan this Summer, Capcom expect sales of 2.8 million from Monster Hunter 4 by March 31st, 2014.

For reference, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate has sold 1.9 million copies as of March 31st, 2013. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is at 4.7 million sold. 2.8 million by the end of March is most certainly achievable for the new game.

Resident Evil: Revelations on consoles and Lost Planet 3 are part of Capcom’s plans, too, the publisher’s latest financial report indicates. Both games are expected to see sales of 1.3 million each, worldwide, by the end of March 2014. Interesting that Capcom expect a port of a Nintendo 3DS game to sell as much as a brand new Lost Planet title.

Finally, Capcom also point to Ace Attorney 5 and Sengoku Basara 4 as major titles for the Japanese market. Ace Attorney 5 is planned for worldwide release, but Capcom haven’t provided sales forecasts for either it or Sengoku Basara.
