Kemco the makers of classic-esque RPGs like Silver Nornir has a neat looking military themed RPG called Steel Illusion Chronicle: Chrome Wolf. In this game you play as Kurtz leader of the rebel forces against the Imperial Army. The story follows the lives of the guerrilla forces you lead into battle… with tanks!

During tank battles you use energy each time you fire shells. If you run out of energy you can’t use the tank anymore. Tanks can be customized with different parts. On the field you can tap the screen to board and disembark from the tank. Steel Illusion Chronicle: Chrome Wolf also has standard RPG combat.

Steel Illusion Chronicle: Chrome Wolf is available now on Google Play, but only in Japanese. Since Kemco usually localizes their RPGs, I expect we’ll see this in English some time in the future.
