Rumor: Lightning’s New Look In Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

Update: Rumor confirmed and here’s a scan of Lightning’s new costume.

Famitsu has a feature on Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII this week to go along Square Enix’s showcase at Jump Festa. Details may have leaked out early since someone on 2ch claims to have seen the magazine early and posted a LittleBigPlanet rendition of Lighting’s new armor.

Why LittleBigPlanet? It’s kind of like a Japanese meme to draw things with the game. We can’t verify the story so take this as a rumor for now.
