Castlevania: Mirror of Fate Trailer Shows A Tearful Goodbye For Trevor

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow has a release date in North America—March 5th. Alongside the announcement, Konami also released a new trailer for the game, featuring a tearful goodbye between Trevor Belmont and his family, as he sets out to Dracula’s castle to find his now-vampiric father, Gabriel:

Simon, who is featured in the trailer as Trevor’s son, is also a playable character in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate (see him here). Simon’s story takes place in a different time period, once he’s older. In addition to Trevor and Simon, you’ll also get to play as Alucard and Gabriel.

Producer, Dave Cox, shared with Siliconera that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate is being designed as an action-combat platformer with an emphasis on exploration, but isn’t a “Metroidvania” game.
