Wii U isn’t the only "new" console coming out this holiday season. SNK and Tommo will release the NeoGeo X Gold on December 6. The heart of the device is a portable NeoGeo loaded with 20 ROMs. You can plug this device into a base to play NeoGeo games or keep it in pristine condition by using the console as a storage case.

The $199.99 limited edition includes a game card for Ninja Masters, which is the only announced game card so far. The NeoGeo X is available for pre-orders on Amazon and Gamestop.
