Monster Hunter 4’s Underground Cave And Latest Monsters In New Screenshots

Capcom have updated the official website for Monster Hunter 4 with screenshots and images of the new features that were detailed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. You can catch up with those details here.

First off, here’s the Underground Cave area that Famitsu detailed. As reported, this area is designed with a 3D field structure unlike previous areas that we’ve seen in the series:

 

 

Next up is Tetsukabura, an amphibious monster that uses its jaw like a shovel to hit you with dirt and rocks. You can find art work and screenshots of him below:

 

 

Moving along, we have Nelskula, who hangs from ceilings and can attack players with its sickle-shaped jaw or shoot webbing that prevents you from moving:

 

 

Here’s Gypceros from Monster Hunter Frontier Online, who emits a ring of light that can make hunters faint. He also spits venom at hunters:

 

 

And finally, we come to Yian Kut-Ku, who now has the ability to prey on smaller monsters to restore its health:
