Unchained Blades Exxiv, the sequel to Unchained Blades, brings together another group of talented artists for one PSP/3DS dungeon crawler. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor and Durarara artist, Suzuhito Yasuda, designed the lead character, Ryuga who’s in the top left. Yoshitaka Amano, known for his work on the Final Fantasy series, drew the dark knight at the bottom right hand corner.

From top left to bottom right, Unchained Blades Exxiv also has artwork from…

Dream C Club artist Haruyuki Morisawa who drew Sofia

Fire Emblem: Awakening artist Yusuke Kozaki who drew Hilda

Luminous Arc artist Kaito Shibano who drew Diane

Xenoblade and Xenosaga artist Kumihiko Tanaka who drew Sieg

Hatsune Miku artist KEI who drew Mint (bottom left)

Rune Factory artist Minako Iwasaki who drew Emil

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero artist Katsumi Enami who drew Reisled

We’re not sure who drew the unnamed character next to Amano’s dark knight. Morisawa and Shibano also made promo art of Sofia, which will be used as a B2 size tapestry. (Might not be safe for work link!)

Unchained Blades Exxiv looks like its sticking to the conventions established by the first game, simply called Unchained Blades in the West. You can grab it now for PSP and soon as as 3DS store download.
