Looks can be deceiving, and that appears to be the case with Dorasu’s Breakout clone that uses the Hello Kitty brand. Here’s a video of Hello Kitty & Me! Block Crash featuring the game’s hard mode specifically. It doesn’t look like it’s pulling any punches:
