Bluepoint Games (God of War HD Collection), Konami, and Armature (formed by ex-Retro Studios staff) are working together to bring Metal Gear Solid HD Collection to PlayStation Vita. This version adds touch screen controls like sliding a finger to sneak around a corner and a magnifying finger tap. Players can also bring their save data from the PS3 version on the go through Transfarring.

What’s missing is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition. Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PlayStation Vita only includes Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3. The compilation comes out in Japan on June 28.

Update: Konami sent us an e-mail saying Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for PlayStation Vita will be available in North America this June too. A specific release date for the West was not announced.
