Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Transfarring Happens Wirelessly

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is coming to PlayStation Vita with touch screen controls, but sans Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. This version synchronizes save data with the PS3 version so you can continue playing Metal Gear Solid 2 on your daily commute if you own the Vita version too.

Kojima Productions calls this system transfarring and there are two ways to transfer (transfar?) data between systems. Transfarring uses wi-fi for communication between the two devices and/or the Title User Storage where save data is stored in the cloud. Either way, you won’t have to plug in your Vita just to copy files from to your PS3 when you get home from work.
