Diabolical Pitch’s Invisible Baseball Throwing Caught On Camera

Imagine a light gun game, but instead of holding a plastic pistol you threw baseballs. That’s the gist of Diabolical Pitch, a Kinect game made by Grasshopper Manufacture. Kotaku.jp tried the game an Akihabara event and filmed a video of it.

What you can’t see in the video are co-op play specific motions. When I played Diabolical Pitch back at Tokyo Game Show you could do a Dragon Ball Z style fusion move for a super attack. Grasshopper Manufacture also came up with an interesting way to revive another player. If your pitcher gets knocked out you have to bend down on one knee (like you’re about to propose) and the other player picks you up to bring you back to life.

Diabolical Pitch is slated for release this year as an Xbox Live Arcade download.
