Ragnarok Odyssey on PlayStation Vita was released in Japan last week. The game sold 33,496 copies in its first week, and while that isn’t a terribly high amount, it was in line with retailer expectations.
Media-Create report that Ragnarok Odyssey sold through 83.2% of its initial shipment, and that it was even sold out at a few stores. That’s the highest sellthrough for a PlayStation Vita game to date.
This either means that GungHo made reasonable estimates for how the game would sell, or that demand from retailers was right on the mark.
