NeverDead Rolls Into Stores On January 31

Designed by Konami and developed by Rebellion, NeverDead is a third person shooter where you play as Bryce Boltzmann, a demon hunter cursed with immortality. Bryce can’t die during the game. He loses his limbs which players can pick up by rolling his head on the ground. You can also lob Bryce’s head into pipes to scout areas before rushing in guns blazing. Yes, NeverDead is strange, but I’ll give Konami credit for doing something different.

NeverDead has an online multiplayer mode too, but deathmatches wouldn’t work if players didn’t die. Konami created four player co-op challenges instead. Players can either work together or outwit each other using Bryce’s regenerative abilities.

NeverDead will be available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 31, 2012. Downloadable content is planned for title, which Konami plans to announce at a later date.
