In Lanayru Desert, Link Fights An Undead Pirate And A Tentacle Monster

One of the areas in Skyward Sword is the Lanaryru Desert, which has a giant Triforce standing in it. When Link visits, he’ll get to do battle with what looks like an undead pirate, and later a tentacle monster:

Also somewhere in the Lanayru Desert is the Lanayru Mining Facility. Somehow, rocket launcher technology existed back in those days:

Finally, here’s a look at the Silent Realm. This is a place you’ll visit in order to collect tear drops. Once you’re in the Silent Realm, you won’t be able to use weapons, so you’ll need to rely on stealth if you don’t want to wake the guardians:
