Capcom have released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations. What’s so special about this one? Old partners, Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield are finally re-united in the game’s online co-op “Raid Mode,” which allows you to attack enemies and earn points with which you upgrade your characters and weapons:
While it sounds like Raid Mode will only allow you to play as as Jill and Chris, Capcom say Resident Evil: Revelations can be played by up to 4 players simultaneously. Raid Mode is restricted to 2 players at a time, which means Revelations has other multiplayer features, too. A Mercenaries mode, perhaps?
Something else to note: Resident Evil: Revelations comes on a 4GB cartridge. At least part of the reason for this is that Capcom are fitting voicework for five different European languages into the game. That holds true for the U.S. version as well.
Update: Raid Mode will allow you to play online as other characters as well, but we still don’t know how 4-player fits in.
