Agatsuma Entertainment are bringing a Code of Princess game to the Nintendo 3DS. As previously reported, Code of Princess is a side-scrolling action game set in a world designed by 999 character designer, Kinu Nishimura. The main character, Solange Blanchefleur de Luxe, uses a giant sword and jumps into battle half-naked after monsters attack her father’s royal castle.

Solange isn’t the only selectable character in the game though. Code of Princess can be played in multiplayer with up to four friends, and consists of different playable characters. Multiplayer can be both cooperative and player vs. player. While this is a side-scrolling game, there are three layers of depth to the background.

Defeating enemies nets you experience, which can be used to develop your characters. You can also outfit characters with different kinds of weapons and items. Speaking of which, let’s take a look at the characters now.

Solange Blanchefleur de Luxe: Entrusted by her father to restore peace to the land.

Lady Zozo: A zombie girl who turned herself into the undead to further explore magic.

Allegro Nantabile Cantabile: An elf that uses a guitar for a weapon.

Code of Princess is slated for release in spring 2012 in Japan. Here are more screens:
