The first multiplayer mode Namco Bandai revealed for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon was Capital Conquest which has players shoot each other with heat seeking missiles above one of the world’s metropolises. While other Ace Combat games take place in a world that parallels ours, Assault Horizon uses locations like Tokyo and Dubai.
Capital Conquest supports up to sixteen players for 8-on-8 dogfights. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon also has an experience system for its online modes. Earn points and you can unlock skills that boost your attack power and give your jet a stealth bonus.
Ace Combat: Assault Horizon has fighter jets, plus bombers, and attack helicopters to pilot.
But, in Japan you can only get the F-4E Phantom II by reserving the game. Namco Bandai have not announced pre-order incentives for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon in North America yet. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon comes out on October 11 in North America and October 13 in Japan.
