Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark takes players into the world of Ragnarok reimagined as a strategy RPG. GungHo Games added another twist, players see the storyline in pieces. Using the A.I.Z. (that stands for alternate if zapping) system you can switch perspectives and play a different route.

Bit by bit, you put the true story together by playing different episodes with various viewpoints. Apollosoft, a studio formed by ex-Flight Plan staff, developed the strategic battle system in Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark.
