Lucca Tinkers With PSN, Prepares To Chrono Trigger For A Spring Release

Square Enix confirmed what we told you last week, Chrono Trigger will be released on PlayStation Network. The announcement in Japan came with one additional detail, a timeline. Chrono Trigger will be available  as a Game Archives title this spring.

While a release date has not been announced for North America, Chrono Trigger was rated by the ESRB, a good sign that the Epoch isn’t too far away from our shores.

 

If you have a Japan region Wii, you can get Chrono Trigger on Virtual Console tomorrow. The game will be sold for 900 Wii Points ($9), a slight premium compared to other Super Famicom titles. A Virtual Console release was announced for PAL regions, but not North America.
