Hudson, developers of Bonk and now Deca Sports, also has a trading card video game franchise. The first time we saw it in North America was as a tower defense game called Elemental Monster TD. But the original game in the series, Elemental Monster, was a Wi-Fi enabled card battling game for the Nintendo DS.
Soon PlayStation 3 owners will get a chance to try Hudson’s card game. The ESRB rated Elemental Monster Online Card Game for PlayStation 3 with the following description.
This is a strategy game in which players assume the role of a card master who must free a magical land from an evil demon. Players engage in turn-based battles on a grid-like game board, using "elemental monster" cards to challenge opponents. Attacks are accompanied by the gain or loss of hit points, in addition to stylized explosions, lightning bolts, and other effects. Of the dozens of cards to choose from, a handful of illustrations depict female creatures that are topless or have exposed buttocks (e.g., a topless gold creature emanating from fire, a topless goddess bending down).
Elemental Monster Online Card Game probably won’t have the technical wizardry of Eye of Judgment, but you probably won’t need to run to a store to buy booster packs either.
