If the idea of Mother 3 developer, Brownie Brown, working on a new game with superstar artist, Yoshitaka Amano, sounds intriguing to you, here’s your first look at such a title.

Fantasy Life is being developed at Brownie Brown under the supervision of Level 5. The game was originally a Nintendo DS title and was announced last year at Level 5’s Vision 2009 press conference. Since then, the game has been moved to the Nintendo 3DS and given a visual makeover.

Judging by the trailer, Fantasy Life looks like it borrows elements from both Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. We’re not sure if there’s any combat in the game either. There appear to be characters in the game that undertake various professions, ranging from fishing to to mining to performing magic.

All we really know so far is that the game will feature some sort of emphasis on communication between players and that it’s based on the concept of living in a fantasy world.

Fantasy Life is being composed by veteran composer, Nobuo Uematsu, and oh, and in case you’re wondering…yes, Brownie Brown are still a subsidiary of Nintendo.
