Zenonia is an action-RPG originally developed by Korean developer, Gamevil, for the iOS, Android, Zeebo and even Windows Mobile. Two years later, it’s finally on DSiWare. We originally found an OFLC rating for it in May.
Zenonia’s been compared to The Legend of Zelda, but it actually draws inspiration and features from a variety of RPGs. For one thing, the protagonist, Regret, can be one of three character classes, including Paladin, Warrior or Assassin. There’s a strong emphasis on finding and equipping loot, too, and Regret’s appearance changes depending on what you outfit him with.
Like Diablo, the game has different classes of items — normal, magic, rare, unique and epic — and there are skill trees involved in customizing your character. There’s even a little bit of Pokémon influence in there with realtime day and night cycles. Additionally, there’s a weight and hunger management system, too.
Actual role-playing is also a part of Zenonia. Choices within the game let you lean toward good or evil. You can grab it for 800 DSiWare points.
