Project Dark Confirmed For International Release On PS3 And Xbox 360

The next game by the Demon’s Souls team is going multiplatform in the West. From Software will publish Project Dark on their own as a PlayStation 3 title in Japan. Namco Bandai has the publishing rights for North America and Europe where Project Dark will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Project Dark (temporary title), much like Demon’s Souls, is described as a tense dungeon crawler with a dark fantasy atmosphere. While no specifics were given, Project Dark will have a new network system that allows players to interact with others and share content.

Namco Bandai says a more detailed announcement about Project Dark is coming in early 2011.
