Hands On Sakurai’s WarioWare Game

This article is over 15 years old and may contain outdated information

Super Smash Brothers Brawl director Masahiro Sakurai made a microgame for Made in Ore (WarioWare Myself). It’s called Itsusen and it has a sumo wrestler hidden in a peach.

Playing the game is easy. Objects like watermelons and bombs bounce up and down. All you need to do is tap the screen to make the stoic looking figure open its eyes and slice them.

BAM! Got both of them! Each object has its own bounce speed so you have to wait until the line is on top of both objects before you slice them.

Be careful! If you slice the bomb it explodes. You need to cut the fuse off the bomb to win.

Hidden sumo wrestler! Anyone with the Japanese version Made in Ore can download the game for free.

Made in Ore has not been announced for North America yet, but with E3 around the corner I think Nintendo will announce this. Made in Ore is like Microgame Mario Paint.
