Do you dream of carrying paper cards with your Mii and your Wii’s friend code? Nintendo has a solution for you if you live in Japan. The Digi Cam Print Channel allows users to take photos of an SD card and purchase “large” 89 × 127 mm physical prints from Fujifilm for 30 yen ($0.28) a piece. You can also buy custom photo books with 20 pages starting at 1,575 yen ($14.75), but these are things you can do at a standard photo store. The unique item on the Digi Cam Print Channel is a set of 30 business cards with your Mii and chosen contact information for 500 yen ($4.80). Fujifilm handles all the orders and mails them directly to your house.
Nintendo of Japan launched this channel without any warning so we don’t know if Nintendo of America has plans to create a similar promotion with a company like Shutterfly at this time.
