Tomy plans a Choro Q party for North America

Back in February Tomy released Choro-Q Wii, a racing game based on Takara’s toys, in Japan. According to the ESRB, we’re getting it in the future under the name Penny Racers Party: Turbo-Q Speedway. Penny Racers is the brand Takara established for their Choro-Q toys. The party portion is a reference to the numerous mini-games where you have to catch coins, crash into bowling pins, and dodge a rolling baseball Indiana Jones style.

Choro-Q is far from realistic. The “cars” you can drive include things like the Duck Q (pictured), Pig Tank, and Devil Motor. While Tomy is the developing the game a publisher has not been named. It could be Atlus since they are working with Tomy on Zoids Alternative and released a Choro Q game on the PlayStation 2. It might be Tomy, which could make Penny Racers Party: Turbo-Q Speedway. Penny Racers their first self published game.
