Meet the Dungeon Maker aka the Master of the Monster Lair

We knew Rising Star was publishing the DS Dungeon Maker game and that was a good sign Dungeon Maker: Mahou no Shovel to Chiisa na Yuushya would come to North America too. Surprisingly, XSEED isn’t working on it even though they localized Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground for the PSP. Dungeon Maker DS is in Atlus’ hands who renamed the game Master of the Monster Lair. It’s scheduled to come out on September 2^nd, three weeks before Rising Star releases it in Europe.

I’m guessing the name change has something to do with Global A registering a trademark for Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground when the PSP game came out. How come no one is localizing the PSP sequel? While we’re searching for information on the Chronicle of Dungeon Maker 2 (aka Dungeon Maker: Second Hunting Ground) check out a trailer for the DS game where you brandish a magic shovel to create a dream dungeon.
