Sega hasn’t revealed much about Fushigi no Dungeon Fuurai no Shiren DS 2: Sabaku no Majou (Mystery Dungeon Shiren the Wanderer: Demon Castle in the Desert) on the main page. They don’t even have a release window on it, but Mystery Dungeon fans living in Japan won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on a semi-new Shiren game. Sega’s release calendar has Game Boy to DS remake scheduled to come out in winter 2008, a more descriptive target than Culdcept DS and its sometime in 2008 release date.
One of the changes adds wireless play (read: rescue system). Another gives the feudal lord a harem. Shown in this comparison, the original Game Boy Color game had a lonely feudal lord. You can put up the debate that the screenshot was zoomed in on the feudal lord’s face or Chunsoft didn’t have enough screen room for the complete picture. However, it looks like someone wants to make him look “edgier”.
