Block Breaker Deluxe breaks into WiiWare

Most WiiWare announcements in Japan and North America are getting coverage. Somehow Gameloft’s first WiiWare game almost fell off the radar. Block Breaker Deluxe was quietly released on Japan’s Wii Shopping Channel today. The game is essentially a Breakout clone set in a nightclub. A strange mix where players smash blocks with a paddle, earn money and buy presents to impress the ladies. A two player versus mode is also part of the 800 Wii Point ($8) game.
