Bleach uncut for the USA

At Sega’s Bleach media event I spoke to the producer of the Bleach series where he told me the playable content in Bleach will be the same as the Japanese release. All of the unlockable content in Urahara’s store is intact and there are 32 characters are in Bleach: Shattered Blade, which includes the Arrancar. Is Ichigo’s second bankai is in the game too? Yeah, and so is Renji’s. Since the story in Bleach: the Shattered Blade revolves around Arturo, a new character created specifically for the game, Sega was able to keep the characters in. It is unclear if Bleach: Shattered Blade will explain details about Arrancar, but they are definitely in the game.

Bleach: The Blade of Fate has a few tweaks made by Treasure to streamline the experience. The most notable one is when only two players are left in a fight you won’t be able to jump in the background anymore. This means you can’t jump rapidly shuffle between planes to hide from attacks.
