Sony is preparing six colors for the PSP-2000 and we get three of them in North America. The shared colors from the left to right are: Piano Black, Ceramic White and Ice Silver. The remaining three colors are inspired from flowers and are part of the “Blume series”. From left to right they are: Rose Pink, Lavender Purple, and Felicia Blue. In Japan the PSP Slim retails for 19,800 yen ($162) alone and it will be on store shelves on September 20. Sony Computer Entertainment America has not revealed a price for the standalone PSP-2000 yet. But, the Daxter bundle gives us a clue. Since the bundle package retails for $199, a lonely PSP-Slim should cost around the same price as it does in Japan.
The PSP-2000 model has another feature not revealed during its unveiling; with it you can watch wireless TV. Some cell phones have the ability to watch One-Seg programs, but you can catch shows on the larger PSP screen with the One-Seg Channel adapter. Sony is selling the adapter separately for 6,980 yen ($57).
