Is Namco Bandai releasing two more Naruto games this year?

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

You already know about Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 (aka Naruto: Narultimate Hero 2) which is scheduled to come out later this year. However, glancing over at some retail listings there are two other Naruto games published by Namco Bandai USA. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is supposedly coming out for the PSP at the end of August and Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 is listed as a PS2 game with a release date this fall. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes is probably CyberConnect2’s Naruto: Narultimate Hero Portable, a trimmed down version of the PS2 fighting games with a map to explore. Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles 2 is probably a modified version Naurto: Konhoa Spirits, which plays a lot like Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles with better graphics and the ability to switch characters. Since these are retail listings nothing is final and consider the release “dates” more like release windows. If this information is correct Naruto fans are going to have more games to play later this year.
