Warner Brothers enters the gaming business, buys a share in Eidos

This article is over 18 years old and may contain outdated information

While we’ve seen games about Batman and the Looney Tunes before, Warner Brothers has decided to work directly with SCi, the parent company of Eidos for future games. The entertainment group will have a 10.3 percent share in SCi and they are going to give SCi licenses to develop. Eidos now has the licenses for the Batman comic book series, the Looney Tunes including the sci-fi action cartoon series the Loonatics: Unleashed, classic Hanna Barbera characters like Yogi Bear and the OC. This nearly guarantees a new Batman game, but I really want to see a game based on Space Ghost or Secret Squirrel.
