Switch your Wii version and download different games

Here’s a video of a cool Wii trick. By switching your consoles location you can enter different Wii Shops and pick up unreleased Wii games. By switching over to the UK a Wii owner in New Zealand was able to get Bomberman ’93 and other TurboGrafix 16 goodness early. A killer trick for PAL Wii owners who have fragmented Virtual Console releases, but it means nothing if you’re in Japan or North America. The Japanese Wii has no option to change the console’s region and while you can switch the North American Wii’s region Japan and the UK aren’t options. I messed around with my US Wii and switched it to Peru, Canada and Jamaica earlier to see if there were any differences on the Virtual Console. Unfortunately, there are no hidden games in those regions. Anyone want try Venezuela or Costa Rica?
