We now have a new update on how many Octopath Traveler copies have been sold. The update didn’t come directly from Square Enix, though. Rather, Nintendo of Europe spilled the details about Octopath Traveler sales hitting the two million milestone.
Here’s the Octopath Traveler sales figure reveal. It also shows that the sales hallmark is being celebrated with an actual sale.
To celebrate 2 million copies sold, OCTOPATH TRAVELER is 50% off until 02/04!

While this is mentioned on Nintendo of Europe’s account, the discount isn’t limited to one region. It is temporarily 50% off in multiple regions, bringing the price to $29.99/£24.99 on the eShop. The PC version is not on sale.
Octopath Traveler hit one million in sales back in August 2018. That hallmark was celebrated with official art. Once it hit 1.5 million units sold in 2019, Square Enix also announced Octopath Traveler: Conquerors of the Continent.
Octopath Traveler is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC worldwide. Octopath Traveler: Conquerors of the Continent will launch in Japan in 2020.
