2.7 Honkai: Star Rail Special Program Features Sunday as a Guest

HoYoVerse announced the 2.7 Honkai: Star Rail Special Program, and this time Sunday will be one of the special guests discussing the new features. This is because the Penacony character will be becoming playable alongside the other returning ally Fugue. The showcase airs on Twitch and YouTube at 3:30am PT/6:30am ET on November 22, 2024.

Both Sunday and Fugue are set to be new five-star characters in Honkai: Star Rail. In the case of Sunday, we’ve only seen him as an NPC so far. So when he debuts as an Imaginary Harmony unit, we don’t really know what to expect. In the case of Fugue, she previously appeared as a four-star. Tingyun has been a part of the game since launch. This time, she is a Fire Nihility character, rather than a Lightning Harmony one.

The update will also feature new Trailblaze Missions and events. Those haven’t been teased yet. However, we could expect them to explain why Sunday and Fugue will be playable in Honkai: Star Rail

Here’s the YouTube embed for the Honkai: Star Rail Special Program 2.7 presentation. Pom Pom and March 7th will also appear as Owlbert’s guests alongside Sunday.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the Special Program for 2.7 airs at 3:30am PT/6:30am ET on November 22, 2024. The Acheron and Aventurine rerun banners are live until December 3, 2024.
