The first 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Nendoroid has a launch window. In December 2020, people will be able to pick up a figure of Iori Fuyusaka, one of the teenage heroines able to activate a Sentinel. Pre-orders for the $52.99 figure are now open.
Iori is one of multiple characters that act as the heroes for the Atlus and VanillaWare game. She’s a schoolgirl who seems totally average, but given that she is one of the people capable of activating a Sentinel, isn’t. As is common with Nendoroids, she has three face plates. One is neutral, another is a determined expression perfect for noshing on her included piece of toast, and a third has her smiling. In addition to the piece of toast, she also comes with an ice cream cone in various stages of being eaten and the “Start” text plate for when she needs to use her Sentinel.
Here’s Iori with all of her accessories and parts.
We’ve had plenty of opportunities to see this first 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Nendoroid ahead of launch. Iori’s concept art was shown off at WonFes 2020. Then, we saw a picture of her painted prototype at the WonHobby Gallery 2020 virtual showing.
The 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Nendoroid of Iori will launch in December 2020, and Good Smile Company pre-orders for it will close on September 17, 2020. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will come to the PlayStation 4 outside of Japan on September 22, 2020.
