The YouTube description said it could be out the week of December 17, 2023 for PCs, but noted it could slip to the week after. The social media announcement said it will be a “Christmas” update on the PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It didn’t have as pinned down an update for the Switch version of the update, but noted Pathea sent it to Nintendo.

Here’s a list of some of the new features that will be a part of the 1.2.0 patch.

  • Challenge Dungeon

Here’s the My Time at Sandrock 1.2.0 update trailer, which goes over the new content updates one by one. In each case, in-game footage accompanies the announcements, so people can see how it will look and work.

There have been a number of patches for My Time at Sandrock since its launch, though each update tended to focus on bug fixes. For example, one happened in late November 2023 for consoles. With this new one, it will include a number of hotfixes for consoles that aren’t there yet, but did show up on PCs.

My Time at Sandrockis available on the PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the 1.2.0 patch will appear in December 2023. The PS4 version is in development.
