Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment, the PSP RPG with an MMORPG setting in the upper floors of the Aincrad dungeon, featuring a variety of weapons and also a dating system feature, has reportedly shipped over 200,000 units since its release on March 14th.

In addition, Namco Bandai have released a new patch for the game that adds a New Game mode.

Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment’s website was recently updated with the message “Over 200,000 units shipped!!” In our previous sales report back in April, the game’s total sales numbers were at 191,444 units sold.

New Game mode can be unlocked by completing the game. This mode will feature tougher monsters at a much higher level.

Here’s a look at the tweaks brought by the patch to bring a better balance to the game:

  • Non-heroine players’ SP consumption has been increased, and their usage rate of Sword Skills have been increased.

  • One-handed Club and Katana damage rates have been increased, and One-handed Club’s SP consumption has been decreased.

  • Battle Skill SP consumption has been lowered.

  • Battle Skill effects durations have been adjusted.

The purpose of the patch is to bring more replay value to the game, in a much higher level challenge for those who’ve already beat it.
