You can listen to the NieR Automata Ver1.1a official podcast via Onsen. The previous episodes are there as well. When the show starts to air, you’ll be able to send in letters about your thoughts on the anime in. If you’re lucky, Yasumoto might read your message and respond to it. For reference, Hiroki Yasumoto is the voice actor for Pod 042 in both the game version and anime adaptation of NieR Automata. His previous roles include Germany from Hetalia: Axis Powers, Chad from Bleach, and Elfman from Fairy Tail.

NieR Automata Ver1.1a is the anime adaptation of the critically-acclaimed and award-winning NieR Automata game. Instead of being a straight adaptation, it incorporates elements and characters from content like the stage play. As the first cour focused on the first two endings in the game, which revolved around the YoRHa androids’ conflict with Adam and Eve, the second cour will adapt the latter half of the game. This will bring more focus onto characters like the Red Girls and A2.

NieR Automata Ver1.1a is readily available for streaming on Crunchyroll. The second cour will start airing in Japan and on Crunchyroll from July 5, 2024.
