Atari prepares Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

It seems like every year Atari is releasing another Dragon Ball Z fighting game and this holiday season Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 heads to retail stores. Similar to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Atari I going to release the title for the Playstation 2 and the Wii. The Wii release will be tweaked to add in motion controls with easier to mimic moves than the system where players just moved the remote off the screen. Each new Dragon Ball game has new characters and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 adds over 20 of them. Nail, King Cold and King Vegeta are added to the roster of 150+ playable characters. While new characters are a strong selling point for the Dragon Ball Z games, buying a new DBZ game every year is sort of like buying the yearly Madden release for updated player rosters.
