The ultimate Easter Egg in the first Zelda was the hidden Master Quest, a harder version of the game with a new layout. When the Gamecube got a re-release of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time it came with a bonus, the Ocarina of Time Master Quest. While Nintendo hasn’t made an official Master Quest for the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, a romhacker took on the challenge. In Moulinoski’s version the game’s difficulty is ramped up, Link starts with a wooden sword and he throws in some Monty Python references for good measure.
