Chara-Ani announced that the upcoming remake Langrisser I & II for PS4 and Switch is getting a demo on February 7, the day the game was originally expected to release until its delay last month.

The demo for Langrisser I will feature the first three stages as an introduction to the world and story for those who aren’t familiar with the Langrisser series. As for the Langrisser II demo, it features stages 4 through 6 with the purpose of demonstrating how much it changed as a strategy RPG.

Additionally the “Classic Mode” included as a first-print bonus will be available in the demo, meaning you can switch between the art styles of original artist Satoshi Urushihara or the newer version by Ryo Nagi.

Lastly, it is mentioned that there plans to add secrets or elements that can be carried over to the full version of the game.

Langrisser I & II releases for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 18, 2019. You can get a closer look at a comparison between the classic and remake art styles in our previous report.
