More information has been revealed for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, which was unveiled yesterday following the appearance of a leaked trailer online.

Addressing comments that the game looked similar to nWay’s mobile title Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, it was clarified that the game has been built from the ground up for consoles, and features new battle mechanics and different movesets for each character. The game will also be available digitally on all platforms.

Pro fighting game player Justin Wong also spoke out yesterday, saying that he is helping out the development of the game on balancing the characters.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid will be released in April 2019 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, followed by a PC release. The official website is now open at Battle for the Grid. Check out the trailer in our previous report here.
