The announcement was made following the release of some pictures of JP Games’ first office. Tabata showed off the plaques on the wall for his studio’s first location.

Previously, Tabata was targeting a January 2019 JP Games launch.

Tabata has not announced or hinted at any JP Games titles yet. However, his New Year’s message said that he hoped to meet fans’ expectations and is looking to "dive vigorously into [his] new work at hand."
