PlayStation Classic Unboxing Videos Offer A Better Look At What Comes With The System

The PlayStation Classic will be making its worldwide debut on December 3, 2018. To help people prepare, Sony has doled out some additional information on the system. This consists of PlayStation Classic unboxing videos for the North American and Japanese versions of the games. It also means there is a brief PlayStation Blog update that goes over some common sense facts about the plug-and-play system, like no, it can’t play original PSOne discs, it can’t download extra games, it can’t use a DualShock 4, and only split-screen multiplayer is present.

As a reminder, there are 20 games on the PlayStation Classic. Only 10 of them are multiplayer games. These are Battle Arena Toshinden, Cool Boarders 2, Destruction Derby, Intelligent Qube, Mr. Driller, Ridge Racer Type 4, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Tekken 3, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, and Twisted Metal. Each one of these cards has 15 virtual memory card slots where you can save data and one Restore Point, which can be created by pressing the Reset button on the system in the middle of a game. If a game has multiple discs, you will need to get up and press the Open button on the system to change discs.

The PlayStation Classic will be released on December 3, 2018.
