A strong Soldier has joined the cast of Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia. People can now add Zack Fair to their team as part of the Shining in, Someday event. Until November 29, 2018, people can go through special event quests to earn the character and pieces of equipment for him. As a reminder, this is only his global debut, as his event appeared in the Japanese version of the app in January 2018.

The Zack event is one of the better ones. It gives people a chance to not only acquire the character and earn free five-star defensive equipment for him, but a five-star weapon he can use. The weapon is the Hardedge Sword and is acquired by completing Shining in, Someday Pt. 5. Two Bulletproof Vests can be acquired by completing the third and fourth event quests.

Here is the official description for Zack and his two Command Abilities.

Shinra Soldier 1st Class. Upbeat and brimming with vitality, he dreams of becoming a hero, but is caught up in a certain incident with his friend Cloud while on a mission. It is during their life-or-death escape from this plight that Zack makes up his mind to become a mercenary.
